Posting Personal Poetry

Poetry is something that has always been very personal to me. I started writing poetry when I was a kid and then reintroduced myself to it when I was 17 and started using it as a way to deal with the emotions I was feeling during a breakup. For years poetry has helped me express my thoughts and feelings in a private, personal, and meaningful way that I wouldn't have been able to do otherwise. I am about to take a big step and start posting old and new poetry to this blog. The poems are titled "Poem #_" and numbered in the chronological order that they were written. I will not be posting the poems in chronological order but I will be keeping the original titles.
