Exuma, Bahamas

For Spring break my family and I decided to take a trip to the Bahamas! We stayed on Exuma, a small island that is the infamous spot of the Fyre Fest fiasco. The waters were gorgeous and warm, the locals are really friendly, and since this isn‘t the main island or a very popular tourist island, the beaches weren’t very crowded. I was lucky enough to stay in an airb&b that was right on the beach! (View from the deck pictured below)

We lazed about on what felt like our own private beach but also went to Coco Plum beach and a full day boat tour around the islands.
Best part about the island: the weather and the animals! Our boat tour was amazing- we went to Pig Beach, swam with nurse sharks, visit lizards, and snorkeled in a fish filled grotto!
Worst parts: Its expensive! I recommend staying airb&b because the resorts can run $1000 a night and even up to $40,000 a night if you were considering staying at David Copperfield‘s hotel just a short boat ride from Exuma.
